Project to create a typography-focused book including texts Design As Art by Bruno Munari and Form and Function: A Matter of Perspective by Janell D. Townsend, Mitzi M. Montoya, and Roger J. Calantone. All text used is copyrighted by the authors.
The objective was to create dynamic typographic designs that play with positive and negative space in a way that shows stark contrast while maintaining a sense of unity and balance.
The typeface IBM Plex Sans is used throughout the book due to its clean, simple appearance and variety of weights
Bold shapes showcase the contrast between the positive and negative space
Repeating elements add cohesiveness throughout the pages
